The error code is "no match found for Adafruit"Įnergia: 1.6.10E18 (Windows 10), Board: "MSP-EXP430F5529LP" The problem I get is the Library of Ada_fruit doesn't work with energia. I am working with microcontroller MSP430EXP5529LP and fingerprint R305, using Energia.
I also believe its worth noting that it doesn't matter the code I am running (I even uploaded the "Blink" sketch that comes with the Arduino installation, that only blinks the Arduino internal LED every other second (so nothing to do with the fingerprint, doesn't even imports the library) and still the LED of the fingerprint sensor stays on, and its been like that since the very first time that I powered it up, as soon as it gets 5V and GND in the correct cables, it goes on and doesn't turn off until I power the arduino down.Īny chance you guys know how to solve this? Maybe a library update? I am running version 1.1.1 btw.
I guess there is no point in sending pictures of the wiring since the sensor is working, and when I call getFingerprintIDez() it successfully returns my finger IDs and moves on to the next section of the code. I read that it was only supposed to be on when scanning, so I am wondering why is that. I have been successfully using the Fingerprint sensor, but there is one thing bothering me, and that is that no matter which section of the code (scanning for a fingerprint or not) the green LEDs stay on.
